This folder contains the stacked images of the primary field observed as part of the "HST Large Programme on omega Centauri", carried out under the HST programs GO-14118 and GO-14662 (PI: L. R. Bedin). The data reduction and analysis are described in the following paper: Scalco et al. 2024, A&A, 691A, 96S https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2024A%26A...691A..96S/abstract Description of the images: - The stacked images are oversampled by a factor of 2 relative to the native ACS/WFC pixel scale (0.05 arcsec/pixel), resulting in a final scale of 0.025 arcsec/pixel. - Each stack combines images from all six epochs of observations covering the primary field of the programme. - Separate stacked images are provided for the two ACS/WFC filters: - F606W (broad V) - F814W (broad I) - For each filter, separate stacks are available for: - SHORT exposures - LONG exposures These stacks are useful for visualization. For details on the data reduction and scientific analysis, please refer to the paper cited above. For any questions or additional information, feel free to contact us.
