Padova POE Group - Activities
ISO Data Reduction and Analysis

Our group is involved in the reduction and analysis of extragalactic survey data obtained by the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) satellite. Our main aim is to produce as reliable, complete and photometrically accurate source catalogues as possible at both 15 and 90 microns, in order to reliably pin down source number counts and identify/characterize different extragalactic populations by means of multi-wavelength observations.

The SWIRE Project with SIRTF

We're also involved in follow-up to the successful SWIRE (SIRTF Wide-area InfraRed Extragalactic Survey) bid for the SIRTF (Space Infrared Telescope Facility) Legacy Science Program

ESIS: ESO-SIRTF Wide-Area Imaging Survey

As part of the optical follow-up to the SWIRE survey we have recently been awarded time on the ESO 2.2-m to image the entire southern ELAIS field S1 in the B,V,R,I,Z bands.
