AGN host galaxies in the SDSS: Lick indices

We used the whole set of Lick indices to analyze properties of galaxies hosting different types of AGN in the SDSS. The huge statistics provided by this survey allows the determination of paired samples of galaxies differing only in selected properties. Seyfert 2 and LINERs are found to follow an age metallicity sequence.
