A spatially resolved spectral analysis of the lobes of the radiogalaxy Pictor A has been performed for the first time. The non thermal origin of the X-ray extended emission is confirmed. Magnetic field, B(IC), particle density, particle to magnetic field energy density ratios have been measured in both lobes. Spatially resolved analysis shows a B(IC) to radio flux variations correlation. Particle energy density exceeds (factor ~50) magnetic field one, and an average B(eq)/B(IC)~2.6 is obtained.
