Ionized absorption and the AGN inner stucture
E. Costantini et al.
Thanks to high resolution spectroscopy, the basic
phenomenology of the ionized gas, outflowing from the
vicinity of the black hole in AGNs,
is now deeper understood. Here we present a spectral
analysis on a sample of bright AGNs carried out by RGS on
board of XMM-Newton, focusing on the issues that are still
open, for instance the geometry of the outflowing system,
the density of the gas and its connection with other AGN's
environments, like the accretion disk and the
broad line region.
